More Conference for Less Money
The LLLI
Conference Team is pleased to announce a special Leaders-only Registration
Price of $455 for the upcoming LLLI Conference, July 2-5, 2005.
The all-inclusive Conference
price includes:
- Three days of sessions
- Opening night
- Three luncheons
- The afternoon tea, and
the farewell evening and dinner
This reduced fee is available
to Leaders and Retired Leaders who are Alumnae Members.
In addition, the hotel
rate for the Washington DC Hilton and Towers is significantly lower
than the hotel rates for the 2003 Conference. While the room rate
in San Francisco was $150 for a double room plus tax, a double room
for the Washington DC Conference will only cost $120 a night plus
tax—quite a savings. Leaders will not only save on registration
fees and hotel rooms but get more for their money at this Conference.
The tea and evening farewell
dinner that have been added to the Leader’s package are a vital
part of reaching the Conference goals of providing information, Leader-to-Leader
support, and networking. Both events provide significant education
and information in a different atmosphere from other sessions. They
also offer opportunities for networking with Leaders from around the
globe. Time and time again, Leaders indicate that the tea and the
farewell evening and dinner were among their favorite events.
While factual information
is crucial for Leaders to do their job, so is the support and inspiration
they receive from attending events such as the tea and evening farewell
dinner. Often the tip, the suggestion, or camaraderie after an LLLI
meeting leads a mother to persevere through breastfeeding challenges.
In the same way, some Conference events, in addition to providing
information, are designed to inspire Leaders to recommit to helping
mothers. Providing opening night, three days of sessions, three luncheons,
one dinner, and one light supper along with information and inspiration
in one Leader’s Package will be both cost and time effective
for Leaders.
LLLI Members Registration
Fee is $485; $535 is the fee for Non-Member registration. And neither
of these fees includes the tea.
The LLLI Conference Team
is pleased that in an era where rising costs are expected, LLLI Leaders
will be able to attend the 2005 Conference for less money than the
2003 Conference. Plan to attend the world’s most extensive breastfeeding
conference—the mothers and babies you help will be forever grateful.
