La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help.
Membership in La Leche League is RMB300 for one year. The membership fee helps support our local Group and the international organization. Membership benefits include a one year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from the LLLI Catalogue.

Meetings in Beijing
A continuing series of informal discussion meetings are offered and are open to all women interested in breastfeeding. Nursing babies are welcome.
Our meetings cover such topics as the benefits of breastfeeding, getting started and family adjustments, overcoming difficulties, nutrition, and weaning.
Meetings are held on the fourth Friday of each month at Beijing United Family Hospital. We meet at 1:00 PM in the Yurt.
