SUMMARY OF ENACTED BREASTFEEDING LEGISLATION
ARKANSAS
Arkansas enacted legislation regarding breastfeeding in public in 2007. One provision exempts breastfeeding in public from the indecent exposure law. The other states that a woman "may" breastfeed a child in any public place or "where other individuals are present."
Ark. Code §5-14-112 Indecent Exposure
(c) A woman is not in violation of this section for breastfeeding a child in a public place or any place where other individuals are present.
