The 49th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is meeting from February 28 to March 11, 2005 in New York City USA, focusing on two issues: review of the Beijing Platform for Action and Current challenges and forward looking strategies for women. LLLI and five other breastfeeding organizations produced the Statement 2005 Progress Report on Breastfeeding: Ten Years after Beijing to be used as a handout and tool for interaction with other meeting delegates.
