This beautifully produced video program from Norway does an excellent
job of presenting the advantages of breastfeeding for mother and baby.
It also makes a strong case for mother-to-mother support and the
important role of volunteer breastfeeding counselors. Information on
breast shells is outdated. Milk that collects in breast shells should
not be stored for future use. Depiction of spoon feeding is incomplete.
Parents should seek assistance from a breastfeeding counselor when
learning spoon or cup feeding. 35 minutes.
BREASTFEEDING: A Special Relationship
This warm, personal video covers topics such as breastfeeding
positions, latch-on, engorgement, sore nipples, and returning to work.
Designed for new, inexperienced parents, this video gives a realistic
approach to breastfeeding your baby.

Four good friends, three of whom are fathers of breastfed babies, talk
informally about a father-to-be's questions about breastfeeding.
Factual information is presented in a casual style as the men prepare

advantages of breastfeeding and gives expert advice on techniques. Drs.
Jay Gordon and William Sears add their expertise, and celebrities give

Excerpted from the Medela Video, Breastfeeding Your Baby: A Mother's
Guide. Presents positioning the baby at the breast and shows latch-on

EXERCISE WITH DADDY AND ME
This workout tape helps men interact with a new baby by including him
or her in a daily workout program. Exercises include warm-up, arm and
ab workout with baby, and cool down stretches and infant massage. Also
included are personal interviews revealing the ways other men have felt
about becoming a new father.
THE EXPECTANT FATHER
Provides a wondrous look at fatherhood, as told by both celebrity and
everyday dads. Produced for dads, by dads, this tape uses humor and wit
to share the complicated task of being a father. This unique video
helps answer questions and alleviate some of the fears that both new
and experienced fathers may have. (LLLI is disappointed to see two
toddlers shown with bottles.)
