World Walk Post Card Idea

Here is an idea the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois Group had for publicizing their World Walk and keeping it mother-sized. They are going to make up post cards, and pass them around at their meetings, asking mothers to send them to two people they know have supported their breastfeeding experience. Mothers are asked to personalize each card and sign her name, as well as provide postage.

The cards say:

Dear Friend of Breastfeeding Mothers,

World Breastfeeding Week is August X-Y. The local World Walk for Breastfeeding will be held:

Date
Time
Location

You can show your support by joining us at the Walk, sponsoring a walker, or making a donation.

For more information, call La Leche League at XXX-XXXX.
