Sample To Do List
[Here is a "to do" list for a World Walk in a public park that Groups in the Chicagoland area have found useful. Maybe a similar kind of checklist, tailored to your location, would help your Walk Chairman!]
Walk Kits to Groups:
- Get Walk Kits in mail
- Get kids' size T-shirts in mail
- Put together 5 groups' packages
- Write price sheet
- Check prices with Leader Y
- Write sales sheet for record keeping
Flier:
- Design flier for use by all groups
- Send email version for checking
- Call Leader X about adding Chicago info.
- Print flier; How many copies?
Reserving Raymond Park:
- Get form in mail
- Return with insurance form and plan for walk
- See that park and police have copy of flier and plan of walk
- Remind church about bathroom, send flier and sponsor form
Sponsors:
- Ask Sam's Club for donation of juice boxes, sponsorship
- Ask Whole Foods for bottled water, sponsorship
- Ask Great Harvest for cookies, sponsorship
Bookstores:
- Draft letter to area bookstores about World Breastfeeding Week (see sample bookstore letter)
- Provide flier, offer poster
- Ask for breastfeeding display
- Ask for sponsorship
